Tools : mechanical pencil 0.5, Pilot Drawing pen (0.1- 0.2) Medium : Adobe Photoshop CS2, Wacom Intuos tablet Time Consumed : 15-20 hours Recommendation : play "Mezame" BGM from Mai-Hime when fully viewing the artwork  This artwork is based on anime series entitled Mai Hime (2004), on the scene at eps 20. The title "Mezame" comes from the BGM used in the same series - featuring an intense battle theme. I try to visualize the extreme sadness and hatred of the character (Tokiha Mai), but due to the limit of resolution, her face can't really be seen here. By the way, the creature behind her is her Child, Kagutsuchi (my favourite!  )My only regret is that I can't get the right "flame" design for the bottom part of artwork, along with the lack of good lighting. Still need more practice, perhaps. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
