* They don't say "I love you". They don't show any intimate physical affection. They don't even kiss! *
* But they know they LOVE each other. A pure, innocent platonic love *

...... is the way I think about them. How sweet. :)

End of Rant.

- This is a picture of Jack Russel and Ridley Silverlake, the character from supposed-to-be-famous Radiata Stories PS2 RPG game.
- The picture is a scene that might be happening after they returned to Radiata, in Non-Human Path. Well, after all that menace they do to the human society, I don't think the human will welcomed them warmly. Maybe they'll be exiled from Radiata, soon after they returned.
- I really REALLY want to do a spin-off doujin about that! Damn!! Where's my time?? :shakefist:
- This picture is my experiment on anime CG coloring scheme that most digital artist use. If you think this coloring scheme suits me better, please let me know. :)

This is really beautiful, but I'm going to have to drop some constructive criticism if that's okay. :)

The picture is really well drawn, and very nice looking. The coloring is also good, but I felt like it was just a bit too much.
I think if you dimmed or desaturated the colors just a little bit, it would be much better.
Another thing I noticed was the way you outlined. On the faces/skin you have really dark colored outlines, where as the armor/clothing is relative to what color the object is.
Because of using the two different styles, it makes them look like two different objects (less so in Ridley, but it's quite noticeable on Jack).
That's why typically drawing styles are split between either colored outlines (for a softer, smoother, more realistic look), and dark/black outlines (harder, bolder, gives for a comic/anime look).
However, by using both, it makes Jack's coat look like it's hovering above him if you look at it for more than a couple seconds,
his coat also looks very 3D/realisticly drawn, whereas his face looks very 2D/anime-style (effects of both the outline, and how you drew them).

So I guess next time decide on one style of outlining, rather than putting both into a piece (although Art is Art, I'm not telling you what to do, just giving suggestions).

Regardless, this is a really great piece and probably better than anything I could whip up in the time you took on it.
The shading is really, really well done, and the folds in the clothes and shine streaks in armor are also very nice.
:) Great job.
